Ashwariya rai, Praised by Malika sherawat

The animosity between most actresses is obvious in Bollywood but sensuous Mallika Sherawat not only likes getting compliments but she is also generous when it comes to ‘sshowering’ praises.

The voluptuous beauty recently tweeted about Aishwarya Rai when a fan wrote, “Mallika, you sure are making waves ... and we all thought Ash will be doing it.” In reply she tweets, “Thanks, but Ash makes waves all her own. She’s one of a kind!”

We can say Mallika is definitely one of a kind too, the first B-town babe to be bestowed with an Honorary Citizenship and Official Resolution by the City of Los Angeles. It was on Independence Day when Mallika received the honour during a ceremony at Los Angeles City Hall. “First Indian actor to get a “recognition” by City of LA. Not bad, eh?” scribbles @MallikaLA.

Way to go girl!

Ash's busy schedule

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is busy juggling her time shooting for three films. She is back from the South after shooting for Shankar’s Endhiran and Mani Ratnam’s Raavan, which took longer than scheduled to complete shooting, hampered the shoot of Vipul Shah’s Action Replay.
Aishwarya still has to shoot for three songs for Action Replay and so the film will not release in October this year. All the travelling has made Ash sick and she was recently down with fever. But despite of that she shot for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish because Hrithik Roshan didn’t have any extra dates. She is also upset that two of her songs from Endhiran has made their way to the Internet.

The songs that are shot in the Machu Pichu plains in Peru are out on YouTube and already has 13,000 hits. The four-minute video that has been leaked has been filmed on Ash and Rajni against the backdrop of Incas in Peru.

abhisheikh tatooed ashwarya on his forearm

Previously, the macho man Hrithik Roshan tattooed his wrist to make his wife Suzanne Roshan happy.

The cine stars of the Bollywood are busy in showing their wife that how much they love them. After "Chhote Nawaab" Saif Ali Khan for Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan for his wife Suzanne, this time the junior bachchan Abhishek Bachchan is going to tattoo his wife's name Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on his hand.

According to the sources, junior Bachchan is going to tattoo his wife's name Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on his forearm. He wants to confess his love to his gorgeous wife. Now-a-days, Abhishek Bachchan is busy in the hectic schedule of his forthcoming movie "Ravana" in Ooty. He will tattoo his hand when he will be back to Mumbai.

Ash not sidelined

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been invited by the makers of Pink Panther 2 to the première of the film in the US. She will also tour US and Europe with comedian Steve Martin to promote the film. This development sets aside rumors that the former Miss World is being sidelined by the makers of Pink Panther 2 by avoiding her in the
posters and promos. The actress will be touring Madrid, Paris, Moscow, and Berlin to promote the film.

Though the invitation had been extended to her husband Abhishek Bachchan he would not be joining her due to other commitments. Ash’s presence in the promo tour will prove that her participation in the film is appreciated by the makers of Pink Panther, setting aside the rumors of her being sidelined.

Ash in politics

Mumbai, Jan 31: Samajwadi party is contemplating offering a ticket to the politically-correct, picture-perfect Indian woman, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Having proved her mettle in Bollywood she has proved her social sophistication with an unblemished career and her wise move to marry the youngest Bachchan. she has impressed one and all with her beauty, which appears not to be just skin-deep.

With Sanjay Dutt having dived into Indian politics with much glamour and promises, she can be the next candidate contesting the Lok Saabha elections from Madhepura seat. Tulsi Singh, a senior party leader and chairman of the party’s state parliamentary board, said that a large number of party workers and people had requested him to convince Mulayam Singh to give the party ticket to Aishwarya from Madhepura. The name cropped up in view of an overwhelming favour the green-eyed beauty enloys among party workers.

If the offer is accepted, Ash would be contesting the election against Janata Dal-United (JD-U) National President Sharad Yadav.

Who threw out Ash

Q: Was it Aamir Khan who had thrown Aishwarya Rai out of his movie a few years back? What had happened?
A: No, that was Shahrukh Khan who had her removed from the film Chalte Chalte when she claimed to have been harassed by Salman Khan on his sets.

Q: What are Vivek Oberoi's upcoming films?
A: He will be seen in a Karan Johar production. He may also be in Prakash Jha's next.

Q: Is it true that Aishwarya Rai is older than Abhishek Bachchan?
A: Yes, she's 35. He's 33.

Q: What in your view explains the phenomenal success of Ghajini?
A: Aamir Khan is a brandname right now much like Tom Hanks in Hollywood used to be post-Forrest Gump. People know they will get superior quality cinema with enough star quotient, the latter which he worked upon by building up his body for the role.

Q: Why isn't Amitabh Bachchan in the list of top 10 box office draws for 2008? Is he not a factor at the box office anymore?
A: Post 2007, Amitabh Bachchan has lost some sway at the box office. Is he finished as a superstar? In the past he's usually come back strong but only time will tell. Teen Patti is carrying decent reports.

Q: Who would you say is the star of the decade?
A: The decade is not over at the box office yet. But recapping the top stars of the individual years at the box office. 2000 - Hrithik Roshan (KNPH), 2001 - Sunny Deol (Gadar, Indian), 2002 - Shahrukh Khan (Devdas), 2003 - Hrithik Roshan (Koi Mil Gaya), 2004 - Shah Rukh Khan (Veer Zaara, Main Hoon Na) 2005 - Abhishek Bachchan (Bunty aur Babli, Sarkar, Dus, Bluffmaster), 2006 - Hrithik Roshan (Dhoom 2, Krrish), 2007 - Akshay Kumar (Welcome, Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiya, Namaste London), and 2008 - Aamir Khan (Ghajini).

Ash in pink panther 2

International members of Inspector Jacques Clouseau's (played by Steve Martin) special team of investigators in the forthcoming Pink Panther 2 will include roles played by Asian stars.

Bollywood superstar Aishwarya Rai Bachchan continues to maintain careers in both worlds of Bollywood and Hollywood. While starring in South Asian blockbusters like Devdas, Dhoom 2, Jodhaa Akbar, and Sarkar Raj, she has also taken on roles in Western films, such as Bride & Predjudice, Mistress of Spices, and The Last Legion.

In The Pink Panther 2, she plays Sonia, an Indian research specialist.

Meanwhile, rising Japanese star Yuki Matsuzaki plays Kenji, a Japanese electronics expert in the film.

Matsuzaki is best known for his work in the films The Last Samurai and Letters From Iwo Jima, and a costarring role on the TV series Heroe

Katrina kaif replaces aishwarya rai

After dethroning Aishwarya Rai from the numero uno position in Bollywood, Katrina Kaif is fast emerging as a threat to her in the brand endorsement circuit as well. The hot actress recently replaced Aishwarya to become the new brand ambassador of a prominent diamond jewellery brand.

Known for her sensuality as well as her feminine charm, Katrina reveals why she chose to endorse the brand. "Be it a skin, hair or a jewellery product, I am very selective about the brands I endorse. I undertake extensive research on the company and try to ensure that the brand delivers on its promises made to the user of the product," proclaims a beaming Katrina.

Katrina Kaifs Nakshatra Advt.

Looking graceful in a white gown and bedecked with exquisite diamond jewellery, Katrina also shed light on her much appreciated on-screen chemistry with Akshay Kumar. "Hes really hard working and has boundless energy. These traits are really inspirational and on top of that hes an absolutely wonderful person to work with," says the Welcome girl.

No feud between sonam and Ash

The rumours that Aishwarya Rai was replaced as L'Oreal spokesperson by Sonam Kapoor have been denied by Sonam herself. It was reported that Aishwarya refused to endorse a fairness cream so was replaced by fellow Bollywood star Sonam but Sonam insists that is not the case at all.
She said: "Ash and I both are the ambassadors of L'Oreal, however some reporters created mischief, by saying I am promoting the fairness cream. "Mine is a white perfect cream meant for skin pigmentation and fairness. It’s a deep pigmentation cream meant for Asian skin as girls in their twenties face a lot of hormonal problems in this age. Also Ash had not refused it as she was not offered this product in the first place." Hopefully that will be the end of the matter now, there's enough rivalry in show business as it is already!

Fans crashed on her cell phone..

Fans of Bollywood actress Aishwarya Bachchan managed to crash her cell phone by sending her ‘get well soon’ messages. The actress said that as soon as some news channel broadcast the news of her having flu like symptoms her cell phone was bombarded with ‘get well soon’ messages from all over the country. The poor electronic gadget finally gave up and crashed under the pressure of incoming messages.

Aishwarya was infuriated at certain sections of the media who spread the gossip that she was having swine flu although she was down with common flu. This after Amitabh Bachchan had written in his blog that Aishwarya was down with flu like symptoms. The actress however said that as a precautionary measure she had all the tests done on her. Ash who is back in the sets thanked the media and her fans for their good wishe

Ash working with sanjay leela bhansali

Vivek Oberoi, the handsome hunk of bollywood who once dated gorgeous actress and now Bachchan bahu, Aishwarya Rai, seems still terrified of the not-so-pleasant memories and hence tries to skip her as much as possible.

An instance of such Aishwarya phobia was evident doing the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’ at Mehboob studios, where Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya were shooting for the film. Vivek Oberoi, who was also present in the vicinity for his upcoming film ‘Kurbaan’ with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, could not gather courage to come to Bhansali’s sets to meet his friend Hrithik Roshan in the presence of Aishwarya Rai.

In fact, before coming to see Hrithik Roshan, Vivek discreetly enquired about the presence of Aishwarya, and only when told that she was not present, that he turned up for a chat with his old friend.

Sources from the set of the Sanjay Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’ say that Hrithik Roshan and Vivek Oberoi were very close friends, but had not been keeping in touch with each other due to their busy schedule. But, when they finally met at Mehboob studios, they got on like a house on fire and talked about almost everything from personal to professional lives.

In fact, Hrithik Roshan and Vivek Oberoi have spent their childhood in Juhu area where their families lived, and so they have known each other before coming to films. As they got busy with their respective assignments, the two heroes could meet only at social dos and functions, where it was difficult to unwind. It was for the first time that they got to spend around two hours with each other and they made full use of it.

Aishwarya Rai factor has special connection with both stars. While, Hrithik Roshan was only professionally involved with Aishwarya Rai and gave two most successful films like Yashraj Films’ ‘Dhoom’ and Ashutosh Gowarikar’s ‘Jodha Akbar’ with her, Vivek Oberoi was romantically involved with the beautiful lass.

It was due to Aishwarya Rai that Vivek Oberoi had confronted Salman Khan(Aishwarya’s ex boyfriend) and told a press conference unpleasant things about him. Salman Khan was so furious that till date (when Ash has already ditched Vivek) has not forgotten or forgiven Vivek Oberoi for that incident.

Vivek Oberoi even publicly apologized to Salman Khan during a show, but Salman Khan refused to budge from his position and forgive Vivek.

Perhaps that incident is still fresh in the mind of Vivek Oberoi and that is why he wants to avoid Aishwarya Rai at all cost,…. what say??

Ash and abhi in trouble

The shooting of Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan starrer flick Raavana’, which was scheduled to start near Malshej Ghat area from August 27, is in trouble after the forest officials filed cases against fourteen people of the unit of the film.

Sources say that the officials have filed cases against these people under the Forest Conservation Act, 1980 and the Indian Forest Act, 1927 for constructing sets for the film shoot without proper permission. They have also confiscated one JCB and a tractor involved in the construction work and slapped a fine.

Now, director Mani Rathnam will be allowed to shoot on the site only after he gets proper permission from the authorities and pays the fine imposed on the unit members. Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and others were expected to shoot here for almost a fortnight, but now everything has become uncertain.

Sources say that Mani Rathnam was very impressed with the look of the Malsej ghat area and had decided to shoot some portions of his upcoming flick ‘Raavana’ here. The place looks ideal for showing ancient surroundings as is needed in Mani Rathnam’s ‘Raavana’, which is said to be a modern take on that great epic.

From the very beginning, the shooting of Abhishek-Aishwarya starrer mega -budget flick ‘Raavana’ has been in trouble and this has caused delay in the completion of the flick. Earlier, it was Mani Rathnam who was taken ill and had to be hospitalized due to some heart trouble, resulting in the delay of the flick.

Recently, an elephant on the set of the film had gone mad and killed its owner during the shooting of an important sequence near Athirapally waterfalls in Kerala with Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. The whole unit was scared and the star couple could escape somehow unhurt from the ordeal.

However, all this has delayed the project and its cost has already spiraled to around Rs 90 crore, which is a very huge amount to recover in these recession hit times from the box office. Mani is worried about this, and hence wants to complete the project as soon as possible.

Keeping this in mind, director Mani Rathnam just completed some important sequences with Govinda, who is playing the character based on Hanuman in Ramayana. The ace director forced the lazy star to shoot with him at 3.30am for thirteen consecutive days to satisfactorily complete the shoot.

Sources from the set of the film say that Govinda would be so exhausted after the shoot that he would go for massage everyday after completing his shots.

‘Raavana’ is being made in Tamil and Hindi simultaneously. Abhishek Bachchan plays the role of Raavana in the Hindi version, while in Tamil version Vikram enacts the same role. Aishwarya is in the character of Sita, while Govinda is Hanuman. Ravi Kissen and Sonu Sood also play important roles in the flick.

Ash and Abhi's secret of successful marriage

In this starry-eyed nation, the immense power wielded by Bollywood stars is indisputable. Their power is evident in how even the most seemingly insignificant aspect of a star’s life influences millions. In this candid interview Bollywood’s powerful and most loved couple open up about their personal life, how they relate to each other and share their mantra for a successful marriage.

Meet your favourite Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, up close and personal like never before.
So how have the two blissful years of marriage been?
“I still wake up in the morning and revel in the fact that I share the same room as Aishwarya Rai,” smiles Abhishek. She instantly echoes the sentiment, “Me too. Just to wake up next to each other is a blessing, an absolute joy.”
The couple met for the first time in Switzerland when Ash was shooting for Aur Pyar Ho Gaya and Abhishek, all of 21, was visiting on work. Ash laughingly recalls, “When he started talking, I could not get a word of what he said. He had such a thick accent.”

The couple fondly remembers how when common friend and makeup artist Micky Contractor introduced them, he pointed at Abhishek and although he meant to say ‘Abhishek has a great future in films’, the actual words to Ash were, “There’s your future.” Years later when Micky was doing Ash’s makeup on their wedding day, he said, “See, didn’t I tell you years ago this would happen?”

So what glue binds them together now?
“Our common value system,” says Ash. “We were both from nuclear families. My dad was a marine engineer, so used to stay away from home a lot. Pa [Abhishek’s dad] was mostly away for work too. But still we both got a very cultured and grounded upbringing. Full marks to his parents for raising him and his sister in such a normal way.” “Oh, so finally you admit that I’m normal,” teases Abhishek and her laughter rings a thousand bells.

Abhishek truly has a gift of gab. We ask him what he likes most about her and he counter questions, “How much paper do you have?” Plenty, we assure him and he continues, “Her ability to make you believe that you can set very high standards in your mind about your dream partner and it is still possible to get such a person.” “Awww,” says Ash, clearly moved, “I love this interview, can we go on forever?”

Abhishek continues, “My parents are most important to me in life. The way she has fitted into their lives, even before we got married, is amazing. I feel they think of her as more of a daughter than they think of me as a son. Also, she has an obsession of taking care of people. You are the luckiest if you are unwell when she’s around. When you come home in the evening, she’ll asks, ‘how was your day? Are you hungry? Shall I get you something? She’s the grandmother of the house. A close friend Srishti Arya, who’s like a sister to me, actually asked me on my wedding day on the stage, ‘how have you managed to marry your own mother?’”

Key to successful marriage is according to Abhi Ash is
‘‘Retaining your own strong identity, at the same time being sensitive towards the needs of the partner. If there’s ever an argument, discuss it out and a couple must never go to bed with the fight still on.”

It’s Ash’s turn, “you see, we may not be mushy all the time, but,”— and he interrupts again, “hey, say something about me. I said such good things about you. You are making me sound like the world’s most boring person. Even as she struggles to phrase it right (despite his constant but loving interruptions), her eyes proclaim her love much louder than words. She finally finds the right words too, “His clarity in life is incredible. In the first year of our marriage, we saw many harsh realities of life. This man pulled through remarkably. It warms my heart to think I’ve got married to such a strong person. I can’t thank God enough, not for the surname he has, but for the man that he is.” Abhishek claps, “There you go.”

Of family and kids
Is he as good a son-in-law as he is as a son? Her eyes lighten up. “My parents love him so much, he’s totally the apple of their eye.” Abhishek adds, “They were formal initially, that whole damaad thing, but I’m quite a charmer. I don’t call before I go over to my in-laws. I just hop over the bed and ask for food. Similarly, although no one can ever take my sister’s place, Ash is a second daughter to my parents. For a young girl who’s moved into a new home, it can be quite intimidating to have Amitabh Bachchan say ‘good morning’ to you every morning. But today, my dad talks more with her than me.”

How does it feel to stay in a joint family, a near-extinct tradition in urban India?
“Most natural,” says Abhishek, “I know we live in cynical times where people talk about marriages that don’t work and in-laws that ill treat, but I have witnessed only love and respect in my family. When I see my parents with my sister Shweta’s kids, I think there’s no way I can rob my own children, whenever we have them, of this love.”
Facts not known about this gorgeous couple
Aishwarya is a hoarder, just like her father- in-law. She saves the smallest of memorabilia —including boarding passes of all her travels— as memories. Contrary to a stereotypical woman’s choice, Aishwarya is as fond of action movies and football matches as Abhishek. Her first dream date was to see a live match between Chelsea and Manchester United. One of Aishwarya’s nicknames, apart from the popular ‘Ash’ is Gullu.

Abhishek is an excellent cook and prepares delicious chicken curry. He’s also very well mannered and organized, which he credits to his boarding school upbringing.

Ash and King khan about to sizzle again

Remember, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan parted on a sour note after her hasty departure from his home production Chalte Chalte six years ago?
She had already canned a portion of the film when Salman Khan reportedly landed on the sets... and, well; the rest as they say is history.

Post that scene, SRK let Ash off the hook and took Rani Mukerji as his leading lady. And, since then, many big banners including Yashraj and Dharma failed to reunite the pair that created such magic in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas.
Subsequently, though the Bollywood Badshah wasn’t invited to the Ash-Abhishek wedding, King Khan and wife Gauri posed with the Bachchans for the shutterbugs at the Drona premiere last year. And more recently, at Karan Johar’s birthday party on May 25, the two couples — SRK and Gauri, Ash and Abhi — spent quality time together.

Sources say that Shah Rukh Khan has given a go ahead to cinematographer-turned- director Rajeev Menon’s project pairing himself and Aishwarya Rai after a narration session in London. Rajeev had especially flown to British capital to seek Badshah’s nod for the project and if he was okay with stunning beauty Aishwarya Rai playing the female lead opposite him.

Rajeev did not have any problem from Aishwarya Rai’s side; as he had already worked with her in a Tamil project ‘Kandukonden Kandukonden’, and so the two of them have an excellent working chemistry.
In fact, Rajeev wants to recreate the magic of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Devdas’ in his upcoming project with Shah Rukh and Aishwarya, but was apprehensive about Shah Rukh’s consent for the project, as Shah Rukh Khan never worked with the gorgeous beauty after ‘Devdas’. It is not that efforts were not made to reunite the sparkling pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya on the silver screen, but all failed.

The most prominent theory doing rounds in the industry is that this is an extension of Shah Rukh Khan-Salman Khan’s infamous spat at Katrina’s birthday. Perhaps Shah Rukh Khan is following the adage ‘enemy’s enemy is friend’, and in this case Salman Khan is enemy of both Shah Rukh and Aishwarya Rai.

Also through this olive branch to Bachchans, Shah Rukh Khan is trying to isolate Salman Khan in the industry. Everybody knows that Bachchan family commands respect and is also considered one of the most powerful families of bollywood. This unity of Shah Rukh Khan and Bachchans will send a clear signal of ‘do not mess with me’ to macho Salman Khan from SRK.

Another theory regarding Shah Rukh Khan-Aishwarya Rai pairing seems to be that at this point of his career, SRK is looking to do films that explore his dramatic intensity as in Devdas. SRK has sensibly decided to move on to mature roles. Two of his forthcoming films – Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan and Anubhav Sinha's Ra1 SRK plays father to teenage kids.

Most actors shy away from playing fathers on screen. But Shah Rukh reportedly had no issues with the age of his on screen children. Neither did he discuss the need behind showing him as a father.

Karan Johar confirms, "It was never an issue with Shah Rukh. Why should it be? His son Aryan is 11-years-old. Actors should not worry about these things and not allow it to interfere in their decisions."

My Name Is Khan has Shah Rukh Khan play a suspected terrorist who falls in love with a Hindu single mother.

Now Shah Rukh has no problems working with Ash and she with him. Rajiv Menon’s film is being seen as a natural progression towards mending the bridges between two of the most powerful families of Bollywood.

However, skeptics are not so convinced and point out that if indeed there was a thaw in relationship between SRK and Bachchans, then why Shah Rukh Khan gave IIFA, which was held in Macau this year, a miss. At least he could have attended inaugural ceremony to show his solidarity with Bachchans.

Ashwarya is on roll

Aishwarya Rai’s sartorial sense has often come under the scanner to negative reviews.

But recently she has been dazzling the world with fine designer wear that she has flaunted at the premieres of her latest movie- Pink Panther 2

Ash who has a 10- minute role in the movie starring Steve Martin, has looked stunning in her well cut gowns.

In Berlin, Ash was seen braving the chill in a pink dress with a heart-shaped sequined bodice hugging her slender frame.

And she didn’t just pose for the shutter bugs; she even took out time to talk about the film that’s sweeping all the awards Slumdog Millionaire.
“Good luck to the entire team. It has received so much appreciation of course based in India. There’s a lot of Indian talent in it. Rahman has won his Golden Globe and he’s a wonderfully talented musician. It’s wonderful to see the world wake up to his talent,” says Aishwarya.

Hubby Abhishek Bachchan was however naughty in his comments on Ash’ s new movie, “We were at the premiere of Pink Panther 2 and it was great fun. It s a hilarious film. Steve Martin is a genius. I am very jealous of Ash. He is someone I have been idolizing when I was growing up. And Ash gets the opportunity to work with the likes of Steve Martin and Jeremy Irons!”

Beauty secret of ash

lights beating down on their beautiful faces, make up embracing their faces for hours and rigors of pollution ruining their skin, Bollywood actresses should be finding it tough to take care of their delicate skin. But a few of the Bollywood divas have their own unique regimen to take care of their most important asset, their skin.

Former Miss World and voted as one of the most beautiful women on earth, Aishwarya Rai likes to use besan (gram flour) and cucumber slices to care for her gorgeous skin.

Sushmita Sen, whose beauty was acknowledged by the world, or rather the universe, has a unique regimen to take care of her skin. Sush prefers to pamper her skin with papaya and orange peels.

Yana Gupta prefers to use coconut paste as a replacement to the usual soap, while Sonali Bendre, whose looks defy her age, uses only baby oil to remove her make up.

The mayonnaise jar and two cups of coffee

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and two cups of coffee

once a professor stood before his philosphy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a veruy large empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with snooker balls. he then asked the students if the jar was full

THEY AGREED IT WAS

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. he shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the snooker balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. THEY AGREED IT WAS

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous "yes"

The professor then took out two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

"Now" said the professor as laughter subsided. "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things-your family, your spouse, your children, your health, your friends and your favourite passions-and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full

The pebbles are other things that matter like your job your car, your house.

The sand is everything else the small stuff. "If you put the sand into the jar first." he continued "There is no room for the pebbles or golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you

"Pay attention to the things that are important to your happiness. Play with your children. take time to get medical chekups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first-The things that really matter. set your priorties. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled and said "I am glad you asked. It just goes to show that no matter how full you life may seem, there is always room for a cup of coffee with a friend."

Ash is more bankable than khans in hollywood: forbes
